All Women's Pop-up Trail Care - Michaux
Description
Are you new to trail maintenance or want to meet like-minded people?! Join Keystone Trails Association, Trish Turo (@CoachTrish), Friends of Pine Grove Furnace, and Michaux Forestry personnel for a half day of giving back to trails. No experience necessary -- we offer "on the trail" training, and provide all tools and gloves, etc. This event is intended to provide a safe, inclusive space for new trail volunteers who are female-identifying.

Pop-up Women's Trail Care - Michaux
Sunday, November 16, 11 am - 3 pm
Gather in Pine Grove Furnace State Park for introductions and safety and tool instructions. Then we'll walk or carpool to nearby trail work sites. Volunteers can choose from invasive pulling/trimming along Pine Grove Furnace State Park trails, or helping to construct an exciting new trail just outside the park boundary in Michaux State Forest. Afterward, we're planning to head to Big Hill Cider near Gardners to celebrate our achievements! ![]()
Registration is limited. Learn more and sign up to receive meeting location details. We'll send an email to everyone early that week with more details!
