KTA ExtraGive Fundraising Hike on the Conestoga Trail

Celebrate and explore a section of the 63-mile Conestoga Trail during KTA's ExtraGive Fundraising Hike!  This 4.5-mile trek will pass a historic home, follow the Conestoga River, and traverse beneath an autumn canopy.  We will move at a brisk pace of just over 2 miles an hour.  There is modest elevation gain with some rocks and roots to navigate on this loop hike.  Participants should bring: water, snacks, layers, and pertinent personal first aid.  Hiking poles may be useful.  Sturdy hiking boots reccomended.  

After the hike, head into Lancaster City for an optional happy hour with KTA at South County Brewing.  Then hit the streets of the city to join the ExtraGive's night of live music, dancing, and fanfare.  

ExtraGive is an annual, county-wide event designed to raise funds and awareness for nonprofit organizations that enhance the community.  In lieu of a registration fee, we ask that you make a donation when registering.  Learn more about the county-wide event here.

• Hike Time & Location: Hike will depart at 2pm and conclude at 4:30pm from 826 Eshelman Mill Road, Lancaster, PA 17602 
• Happy Hour Details: 5-7:30pm at South County Brewing, located at 26 W. King St. Lancaster, PA 17603
• Cost: This is a fundraiser; please make a donation when registering
• Registration Deadline: Thursday, November 20 at 11:55pm
• Cancellations: Please notify Kate Prisby (prisby@kta-hike.org) if your schedule changes so that your space can go to someone on the wait list
